If you are on the pathway to EOTAS, and putting your provisions together, it can feel daunting, and like a minefield!

We have a new group set up to help you with this. There are others in t just like you, or have been where you are and are on hand to give you a virtual hug and a helping hand if needed.

This (Facebook) group dedicated to parents who have secured, or are working towards, EOTAS (Education Otherwise Than At School) status and want practical support in building their child’s bespoke education package.

Free unit and worksheets for all!

This time of year, many children (and adults!) feel a little different. The dark nights, colder days and change in routine can leave us tired, overwhelmed or just not in an “academic” headspace – and that’s completely normal.

To support families through this season, we’ve created a free Wellbeing AQA Unit Award Scheme unit and workbook for everyone to try. It’s designed to help children explore their feelings, understand what’s going on in their bodies and minds, and find simple, practical ways to look after themselves – all while earning a recognised AQA certificate.

You can download the unit and workbook for free and work through it at your own pace, in your own cosy corner.
Because learning isn’t just about grades – it’s about growing confident, resilient, happy humans.

BONUS Circadian Rhythms and Mindfulness AQA Unit

Have a go at this unit and send it into us for an AQA UAS certificate. (Free if you are registered with us or £25 if not).

Demonstrated the ability to:

1. describe how the change from autumn to winter causes animals and plants to slow down and conserve energy (e.g., hibernation, losing leaves). (summary sheet (a.k.a witness statement))

2. identify the daily patterns my body follows, like a natural clock (our circadian rhythm), and explain why rest is important (summary sheet)

3. practise mindful listening to my body's signals (e.g., heavy eyelids, tummy rumbling, feeling irritable) and recognise when I need to take a break or rest over the course of a day (summary sheet)

4. create an artwork or craft to help my mind feel focused and calm when I feel overwhelmed or restless (student completed work or photographs)

5. create a simple "Slow-Down Checklist" for home, listing activities I can do when it gets darker earlier to help myself feel calm and cosy, inspired by nature's need for rest (summary sheet and/or student completed work)

Progress Reports

If your child has been learning with us for any length of time, you can purchase a progress report for them. This will help you to see the journey that they have been on and help with any documentation you need to put together on how they are doing.
